The economy in this past year has been a roller coaster of bad news. Jeremy Gates is one analyst that has been looking for the best financial deals in the economy right now to help find the much needed information for consumers.

There are literally thousands of homebuyers facing an uncertain future in the UK with the start of this year. Of the home owners there are 1.4 million that need to remortgage or that are first time home buyers. They have to make a decision on what is going to be best for their financial status, and since there is a danger of recession this can be very difficult.

The question of what is the safest mortgage must be answered regarding the recession the UK residents are heading for. Abbey Mortgage is one company that has been searching for better mortgages and has shown what types of mortgages home owners are looking for. Currently Abbey Mortgages is finding that four times as many home buyers are trying to choose a fixed rate mortgage as opposed to the tracker mortgage during the survey.

58% of those individuals surveyed have no idea what they are going to be doing in the next few months regarding their mortgages.
