The two key factors are firstly how far your house is from the exchange in cases where you have a service with someone like Sky that uses your phone line for Internet access or secondly whether you are lucky enough that your house has fibre optic cable. Virgin offer this. If you do then you can get very fast broadband Internet access and you won’t need to rely on a pay as you go mobile broadband dongle which is what we have had to do whilst we wait for our fixed line provider to get their act together. So when you move home it is not just arranging a new mortgage that you should consider but also how you will get your broadband to access the Internet. After all, these days how can you call a house a home without fast Internet access?!
